Vancouver’s most popular body of water, Indian Arm, offers a combination of breathtaking scenery, lake like calm waters, dozens of swimming holes and many destinations to tie up the boat.
Leaving from Coal Harbour allows a 15 – 20 minute trip to the mouth of Indian Arm. There you will find yourself in a body of water surrounded by mountains on each side. You’ll be surprised to find that something this beautiful exists only 20 minutes outside of the city.
Once you start your journey up the Arm you have so many options. You can pop by the public dock at Deep Cove and have a bite to eat at Arm’s Reach Bistro, or try a famous donut from Honey’s. Or you can continue further to the end where Granite Falls awaits, where there is also a public dock to moor the boat.
This is a great place to explore and dip into the waterfalls. Along the way there are smaller waterfalls and islands to check out as well. Keep an eye out for eagles, seals and other wildlife. Indian Arm is truly a place that every visitor and local should see.
The average trip customers tend to do is a 3-4 hours to allow the trip up to the falls, and any activities or leisure time along the way. So many customers say that that will be the day they remember when looking back at their summer.
